Live Edition: Animal Airwaves—Live is an hour-long call-in show that airs between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturdays on WUFT-FM in Gainesville. The show features faculty members from the UF Veterinary Hospitals who address a variety of topics relating to pet health care, including companion animals, exotic pets and horses.

Does your pet have recurring or constant ear or skin trouble, such as redness, itching, or infection? Those are just some of the signs that can be associated with food allergy in pets. Learn more about common food allergies in dogs and cats and how they are diagnosed and treated at the UF Veterinary Hospitals from Dr. Ursula Oberkirchner, a board certified veterinary dermatologist. Dr. Oberkirchner will discuss how veterinarians distinguish food allergies from other types of allergies, how they can impact your pet’s health and why they can be tricky to diagnose.
