2008 Nobel Laureate Dr. Martin Chalfie, William R. Kenan Jr. Professor and Chair, Department of Biological Sciences, Columbia University

Details:  An informal reception with light refreshments will be held at 3:00 p.m. in HPNP Building Reception Hall. Professor Chalfie will deliver his lecture at 4:00 p.m. Of special interest is the fact that Professor Chalfie will be available for conversation and discussion prior to the lecture as well as at an evening meal. Also, "Lunch with Students" is planned (provided gratis to attending students). Any faculty or students interested in having the opportunity to meet and chat with Professor Chalfie should contact Professor Paul Linser at pjl@whitney.ufl.edu or 904-461 4036. There are limited numbers of such opportunities so once the slots are filled the opportunity will close.
